The Municipal Nuisance Ground is owned and operated by the Town of Lafleche and the R.M. of Wood River No. 74. It is located on the W ½ of 35-08-05 W3, just south of Lafleche, off Highway 13. Currently, it is a transfer station including household waste disposal and refuse. This transfer station also includes hazardous substance/dangerous waste goods storage and a clean wood burn pit.
The nuisance ground offers a wide variety of recycling options to mitigate large volumes of waste and increased costs. There is oil filter and oil container recycling, metal recycling including microwaves, barbed wire and propane tanks, as well as single stream recycling.
Both Town and R.M. residents have access to the municipal nuisance ground.

The Town of Lafleche offers curb side pick up waste management services to its residents through Loraas Disposal, using the grey bins provided by Loraas. The Town of Lafleche also has curbside pick up for the blue carts provided by Loraas. Loraas bins should be out on the street by 7:00 am, so it is recommended they be put out the night before.
There is a compost site for Town of Lafleche residents located on the north side of 1st Ave. E., between 1st & 2nd St. E. (across the railroad tracks). Items accepted here are leaves, grass clippings, small branches and wood chips. PLEASE EMPTY YOUR BAGS AND DISPOSE OF THE BAGS IN THE RECEPTACLE PROVIDED.
